After you pass both the Michigan SOS written knowledge test and either the on-cycle skills test OR an approved safety course, what is the FINAL step to get your CY endorsement?

1. Wait one year before riding
2. Visit a Michigan Secretary of State branch, present the required documents, and pay the $16 endorsement fee to have the CY added to your driver license
3. Mail a request to the Michigan State Police
4. Take the test again at a different SOS office
