Upon completing pile driving for the day, the FIRST step in disassembly and securing is generally to:

1. Immediately load the rig on a trailer with the leads up
2. Stow or store the hammer safely and lower/secure the leads per the manufacturer's instructions before transport
3. Leave the hammer suspended at full height overnight
4. Remove the operator's manual permanently
