Under the classic EPA construction general permit inspection options used in the 1992 stormwater guidance, site inspections are required at least:

1. Once a month, fair weather only
2. Every 7 calendar days, or every 14 calendar days and within 24 hours of a 0.5-inch or greater storm
3. Only after a Notice of Violation
4. Once at substantial completion
