Per NMDOT 2019 Section 609.3.1.2, existing ground under the curb-and-gutter bed course shall be compacted to 95 percent of maximum density, and the bed course itself shall be compacted to at least:

1. 90 percent of maximum density
2. 92 percent of maximum density
3. 96 percent of maximum density
4. 100 percent of maximum density
