Oklahoma is in tornado alley and storms can develop quickly. If you see a fast-building severe storm cell while riding, you should:

1. Try to outrun it on the open road
2. Get off the highway, head to a sturdy building or low protected area, and wait it out
3. Stop on the shoulder under a tree
4. Continue riding into the storm
