What should you do if a dog runs alongside your motorcycle and seems likely to attack?

1. Stop and try to pet it
2. Downshift, approach as if maintaining speed, then accelerate ahead of the dog when you are close
3. Kick at the dog while riding
4. Brake hard and put both feet down
