Practice question

Where can a student find the provider's DD school number and DD course provider number?

  1. On the provider's social media accounts
  2. In the app's notification settings
  3. By calling the customer service hotline
  4. On the TDLR website

Answer: D — On the TDLR website

The provider's Defensive Driving (DD) school number and DD course provider number can be found on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) website. This official source contains accurate and up-to-date information related to licensed driving school providers in Texas, ensuring that students can verify the legitimacy and credentials of their chosen provider. The TDLR manages these records, making it the most reliable place for students to access their DD school number and provider number. Other methods, such as checking social media accounts or app notification settings, may not provide the necessary information in a reliable way, and while calling customer service could potentially yield the information, it is not as direct or efficient as accessing it from the TDLR website.
