Carriers of packaged dangerous goods must ensure, among other duties, that:

1. Any leaking package is accepted to 'get it off the yard'
2. Training certificates are optional if GPS is fitted
3. The vehicle is properly equipped, crewed by trained drivers and loads are accepted only if compliant
4. Orange plates are fitted only on bank holidays
