You see an object fall from a vehicle onto a motorway. What should you do?

1. Stop in a place of relative safety and call 999; do not remove it yourself
2. Run out and move it if there is a gap
3. Stop in lane 1 and switch on hazard lights
4. Drive over it to clear it
