What is the minimum passing score for the Wisconsin temps permit test?

Answer: C — 80%

To obtain a temporary permit in Wisconsin, a passing score of 80% is required on the written knowledge test. This means that a test taker must correctly answer at least 40 out of the 50 questions to successfully pass. The requirement for an 80% score reflects the importance of having a solid understanding of the rules of the road, traffic signs, and safe driving practices, as this knowledge is essential for ensuring safety for both the driver and others on the road. The other scores presented do not meet the minimum threshold, which highlights the state's commitment to driver education and safety.
