Under Alabama's Move Over Act, when you approach a stopped emergency or law enforcement vehicle displaying lights on a road with a posted limit of 25 mph or higher, you must:

1. Maintain your current speed and stay in your lane
2. Move over a lane if possible, or slow to at least 15 mph below the posted speed limit
3. Come to a complete stop until the vehicle leaves
4. Sound your horn to alert the responders
