How long is the Class 7 learner's license valid in Alberta?

Answer: B — 12 months

In Alberta, the Class 7 learner's license is valid for 12 months. This duration allows new drivers sufficient time to practice their driving skills under the supervision of a fully licensed driver. During this period, learners can gain valuable experience on the road, preparing them for the eventual transition to a Class 5 novice license. It's important for learners to make the most of this time to build confidence and ensure they are well-prepared for the driving test that will follow. This structured time frame reflects the province's focus on safety and proper training for new drivers.
