1. Ease forward so the door pressure makes them let go
2. Stay stopped, fully open or reopen the door if needed, and wait until they are either fully aboard or fully on the kerb and the door is closed
3. Close the door on their bag so they follow the bus
4. Leave the door ajar for the first 10 metres
