1. Tire explosion risk is extreme; fight the fire with dry powder/sand from the front/rear profile of the tire (never stand directly facing the sidewall), and NEVER throw cold water onto the glowing drum
2. Throw a bucket of cold water directly onto the red-hot brake drum to shock it cool immediately
3. Stand directly facing the outer tire sidewall at 0.5 meters distance to poke the flame with a stick
4. Deflate the burning tire by unscrewing the valve core with bare hands
