When a school bus on a two-lane road shows flashing red lights and an extended stop arm, drivers must:

1. Stop only if traveling in the same direction as the bus
2. Stop from both directions and remain stopped until the lights stop flashing and the arm retracts
3. Slow to 15 mph and pass carefully
4. Continue normally because the bus has its own warning
